Who we are

Michael and Heather Brown are the voices behind Imperfectly Married the podcast—a heartfelt and honest space where real talk about love, faith, and marriage unfolds. High school sweethearts turned lifelong partners, we’ve been married for 26 years and are the proud parents of three amazing adult children. Our journey together has been filled with laughter, loss, growth, and grace—and we’ve learned (often the hard way) that building a lasting marriage isn’t about perfection, but about persistence, purpose, and love.

For the past 19 years, we've served together in church ministry, walking with couples, families, and individuals through every season of life. That same time has also seen us behind microphones, hosting podcasts and creating content that brings encouragement, authenticity, and hope to those navigating life and relationships. These years have shaped our voice, sharpened our perspective, and deepened our compassion for real people with real struggles.

We don’t claim to be marriage experts. We're just two people still learning—sometimes stumbling—how to choose each other every day. Through real stories, vulnerable conversations, and a quiet thread of faith, we want Imperfectly Married the podcast to be a space where couples feel seen, heard, and reminded that imperfection doesn’t disqualify you from deep connection. In fact, it's often what makes the beauty of marriage shine the most.

So whether you’re thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between, welcome. You’re not alone—and there’s hope, right in the middle of the mess.
